My research interests focus on the use of electrochemical detection techniques in the newly developed DNA biosensors, aptasensors and immunosensors. I am currently involved in projects dedicated to application of modern nanomaterials (like graphene or metal nanoparticles) as biological sensor substrates, the development of new detection methods for PCR and LAMP PCR products (characteristic for highly pathogenic bacteria), and the development of more sophisticated diagnostic tools.
