My doctoral dissertation focuses on combining the properties of magnetic nanoparticles (core) with the high catalytic activity of nanozymes (noble metal nanoislands). The resulting hybrid nanostructures will serve as a platform for the deposition and polymerization of polyphenols, which will provide them unique optical and antioxidant properties. Additionally, they will enhance both stability and biocompatibility of the structure, and enable further modification with various ligands, such as bioreceptors. Potential applications include anticancer therapies (photothermal, photodynamic) and new types of bioassays.
