The lab on paper group is located at Chair of Medical Biotechnology, Chemistry Building. We have designed and fabricated paper sensors for testing explosives, including: TNT, RDX, HMX, PETN, TATP, HMTD. The response time of the sensors is about 1 minute. Detection is based on colour change, so that it can be done visually. This allows the sensors to be used in field measurements. We have also developed a special cartridge for paper sensor testing. A blister filled with the appropriate solution required for the analytical reaction is mounted in the cartridge. We can prepare blisters filled with various liquids, and nanozyme-antibody conjugates. The typical volume of liquid filling the blister is 100 μL.
