Sanu Karickal Anand

I am a chemistry professional with over eight years of research experience in Analytical Chemistry, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the research employee group at the Warsaw University of Technology.

I earned my Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kerala, India, in 2021. Following my doctoral studies, I continued at CUSAT as a Postdoctoral Fellow (2022–2025), where I expanded my expertise in advanced material-based sensor technologies.

My research interests focus on the development of novel optical and electrochemical biosensors for the effective detection of various targets for biomedical applications. I am particularly interested in materials chemistry, including graphene and its derivatives, nanomaterials and nanocomposites, electropolymers etc. My work aims to design and develop innovative sensing platforms with enhanced sensitivity, selectivity, and real-world applicability.
