The aim of PhD study is to investigate the regenerative possibilities of selected types of stem cells simulated by structural and biochemical factors. The regernerative abilities of stem cells will be tested in the co-culture of hypoxic (biochemical and physical) cardiomyocytes as a simulation of the disease state. The results of the obtained research may contribute to a deeper understanding of the mechanisms responsible for the regeneration of damaged heart tissue.
