My research interests are focused on in vitro studies of the biological activity of nanomaterials for imaging and therapy of cancer. Functionalized quantum dots may be applied for bioimaging. I am also interested in evaluation of the effectiveness of photothermal therapy, that is a method for cancer treatment. For this purpose surface-modified gold nanoparticles and MXenes are applied.
